A Powerful Christian Prayer to Break Ungodly Soul Ties and Reclaim Your Identity in Christ

1. Invitation of the Holy Spirit and Surrender
Holy Spirit, according to John 16:13, I invite you now to come and lead me into all truth. Search me and expose any lingering soul ties or entanglements, especially with past partners, sexual, emotional, or spiritual, that have left open doors or access points or are hindering my walk with you.
Jesus, I come boldly to your throne of grace and I surrender this time to you as I meet with you in the secret place. Let your blood speak a better word over my life according to Hebrews 12:24. I place myself under your covering now.
2. Repentance and Closing Access Points
Father God, I come before you in the name of Jesus and I repent for all sexual, emotional, and spiritual soul ties and connections I made outside of your will. I acknowledge my sin and I come out of agreement with it. I lay it on your altar and surrender it at your feet.
I repent for any misuse of the gift of connection, for lust, for perversion, and for any way I allowed others to use me or allowed myself to be used. Father, I ask for your mercy and forgiveness. Let the blood of Jesus cover my sin and seal every access point that was opened through these ungodly soul ties.
By the power of my covenant with Christ and the blood of Jesus, I take the sword of the Spirit and sever these ties. I now renounce my soul tie to (name of person or persons). I break agreement with it by the authority of Jesus Christ and the power of the cross. If married, I also declare that I honor and uphold my vow to my spouse.
3. Renunciation of Every Ungodly Exchange
In the name of Jesus, I renounce every ungodly soul tie and emotional attachment formed through past sexual, romantic, or spiritual relationships. Anything that was received or taken in an ungodly manner, I break agreement with that spiritual exchange.
I give back what is not mine and I take back what belongs to me. I call every part of myself cleansed by the blood of Jesus and washed in holy waters.
I cancel any unholy agreements, vows, oaths, promises, spiritual contracts, rituals, or participation in any form of spiritual manipulation. I renounce it and break its power by the fire of God and the blood of the new covenant. I declare every contract null and void in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. Severing and Expelling
By the authority given to me in Jesus Christ, I sever every soul tie between me and (name individuals here). I cut every cord of connection, spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental.
I command every entry point to be sealed by the blood of Jesus. I reclaim every part of myself that I gave away, and I release every part I was holding onto.
I command every demonic or familiar spirit that gained access through these ties to leave now in the name of Jesus. You have no legal ground. Your access is revoked and sealed by the blood of Christ.
5. Cleansing and Restoration
Jesus, cleanse me with your blood. Purify my soul and my spirit. Let your living waters wash the memories and the traumas from my conscious and subconscious mind. Wash away defilement, shame, residue, and spiritual debris.
Remove every spiritual artifact or lingering imprint. Restore my innocence. If married, restore purity and sanctification to my marriage and intimacy. Heal any momentum of past defilement that tried to follow me into covenant.
Restore what the enemy attempted to steal. I receive your covering and healing now, especially in the realm of intimacy, connection, and relational wholeness.
6. Reclaiming Identity in Christ
I declare that I am not bound to my past. I am forgiven by the blood of Christ. I am a new creation. It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me according to Galatians 2:20.
My identity is not in past decisions or experiences, but in the finished work of the cross. I am covered, cleansed, and consecrated for God’s glory. Today I walk in freedom, purity, and purpose.
7. Filling and Sealing
Holy Spirit, fill every place that was emptied. Seal every access point. Fill me with your love, your power, and your truth. Guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Sanctify me for my current marriage or my future partnership. Teach me to walk in purity, wholeness, and kingdom intimacy from this day forward.
I seal this prayer by the authority of Jesus Christ and by the power of His blood. Amen.
